CHELMSFORD RYMAN CHAMPIONS On 5th April 2008 the wait was over for Chelmsford City, kit sponsored by VANDANEL, who will be playing football in the Blue Square South League next season, after claiming the point they needed from Kent play-off chasers Ramsgate, to be named Ryman League Premier Division champions for the 2007/08 campaign.

Having waited since Easter Monday to nudge themselves over the finishing line after leading the table for the vast majority of the campaign, the Clarets gained a draw from the Kent side thanks to a first half Kezie Ibe equaliser, and Head Coach Glenn Pennyfather explained; "It's been such a long time coming but we knew promotion was imminent. It was a relief to finally get it signed and sealed as it means such a lot to so many people".

VANDANEL were very pleased to be able to supply the winners prize of a full Football Kit to the Buckhurst Hill Under 8's A team. The competition was held by the West London Guardian, and was won by Harry Cuthbert (Age 7) who wrote the following:

"Buckhurst Hill FC Football Club are a family club and team. My team Under 8's A really enjoy playing and learning how to play football. There is always someone at Buckhurst Hill FC who can help and will never ignore you. My team Under 8's A have not lost a game for 2 seasons and because we are in a friendly league, we will not win a trophy for winning the league twice or get our team picture in the Guardian. I think it would be the best thing ever for us to win my team a kit sponsored by the Guardian. This would be a great reward as we try so hard and have never been rewarded."

CONGRATULATIONS HARRY!!
